250,000 HR professionals all over Europe
The European Association for People Management (EAPM) forms the umbrella body of national HR organisations in over 30 countries. This year marks the third occasion since its creation in 1962 that its annual Congress is organised in Paris by the French association ANDRH, one of the founding members. Let’s meet this October, 27th!
The 28th Congress takes place at a critical turning point in EU history with Brexit, a new Franco-German cooperation, the Rome Declaration reaffirming a social Europe, the challenges of energy transition and digitalization, the launch of the European pillar of social rights, the revision of the directive on posted workers, etc. Europe, as a political landscape, definitely poses far-reaching on the field of human resources.

Mary Connaughton is passionate about developing people and workplaces to be at their best. As a Chartered Fellow and Director of CIPD Ireland, she is leading the development and contribution of the HR profession in Ireland. Mary has a wealth of HR experience having previously headed up HR Development services at Ireland’s business and employers confederation, consulted with leading companies on strategic HR development and held roles in public and private sector organisations, including Bank of Ireland.

Noëlle Lenoir focuses her practice on compliance, data protection law, business secrecy, Government and internal investigations as well as public law and competition law – both at the national, European and international level. She served as French Minister of European Affairs (2002-2004). She was also the first woman and the youngest person ever to have served on the French Constitutional Court and was a member of the Conseil d’Etat as of 1984.She began her career as AD official of the French Senate (Law Committee). She was the first Chief Legal Officer of the National Data Protection Authority (CNIL) (1982-1984) and was also Chief ethics officer of the French National Assembly (2012-2014).At international level she chaired the EU Group of Ethics for Science & New Technology (1994-2001, as well as the International Committee on Bioethics of UNESCO (1991–1998). Darko Petrovski is a HR professional with an extensive experience in the HRM in the past almost twelve years. He is founder of the Talent Business Incubator STEP-UP startup company, a partner and a management consultant in Dynamic Consulting Ltd. and Cup Cert Ltd. where aside of his duties and activities in various HR projects, he assumed participation in many projects as a management consultant in different fields such as organizational development, management systems, occupational health and safety and investments. He served as well as a lead auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Previously he spent more than eight years in one of the biggest companies for electricity supply and distribution EVN Macedonia and served there as Head of the Human Resources and Organization department. Prior to that, he was in charge of the Austrian Economic Chamber representative office in Macedonia.Darko is one of the founders and assumed different positions within the Macedonian Human Resources Association such as a board member and a Vice President, a President of the Supervisory Board and currently a Secretary General. He is also a member of the Committee for standardization in human resources with the Macedonian Institute for Standardization. In addition to his professional appointments he was active in different organizations such as a VP and board member in the Employers Organization of Macedonia, a member of the National Economic Social Council, a VP of the Local Economic Social Council of the city of Skopje, a member of the Macedonian National Council for Competitiveness, a member of the advisory boards at the Universities of Tourism and Management and the American College in Skopje.Darko holds Master of Science and MBA degrees from the Economic Faculty of Ljubljana with a master thesis in the Talent Management and a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Mechanical Faculty in Skopje. Currently he works for his PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management at the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje/Macedonia. He is author of several scientific and research papers and takes participation at many conferences and events as speaker, panelist and moderator.

The European and the French HR associations
The European Association for People Management (EAPM) was founded in 1962. The Association forms an umbrella body of national organisations which represent more than 250,000 HR professionals in over 30 countries. It is purely professional and specialist in nature. It is an experience exchange organisation without profit-related objectives. It is independent of all employers, trade union, state or political bodies. Bob Morton, representing CIPD from UK is currently President and Izy Behar, representing ANDRH from France is immediate past-president.
Founded in 1947, ANDRH is a non-profit organization gathering human resources professionals of companies and organizations from different business sectors, public and private, small and large, national and international. With more than 5,000 members, organized in 80 local groups, it is the largest community of human resources professionals in France. ANDRH is one of the founding members of EAPM in 1962. On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, ANDRH is organizing the 28th European Congress, in Paris, on October, 27th 2017.
The third constitutional assembly of the French Republic after the National Assembly and the Senate, the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council (ESEC) represents key economic, social and environmental fields, promoting cooperation between different socio-professional interest groups and ensuring they are part of the process of shaping and reviewing public policy. The ESEC has a major role to play in these times of economic, social and environmental change. It advises the government and parliament, and participates in the development of economic, social and environmental policies.
The Council is composed of public figures and representatives of the associative sector, employers and employees. Representing tens of millions of French citizens, the ESEC is at the heart of major social issues and develops new proposals relating to the key topics that will have an impact upon our lives today and tomorrow.
